The Urban Settler is a Canadian producer of high quality furnishings and woodwork. For over a decade we have been handcrafting dining tables, custom furniture, and millwork from reclaimed and sustainably harvested Canadian woods.
We offer an alternative to cheap factory made imports and the generic look of mass production furniture. We use unique Canadian woods to create furniture and woodwork in a relaxed style that will endure. Our styles are often called “Country Chic”, “Casual Elegance”, and “Rustic Contemporary”, whatever the design buzz word of the day, we produce furniture and woodwork designed and built to last a lifetime.

In house, we create custom furniture and woodwork direct for private homes, resorts, wineries, and the hospitality trade. We work with corporate chains such as Starbucks Canada, boutique wineries such Mission Hill Estates, as well as family run restaurants and resorts.
